Izolater vgrajujejo in popravljajo izolacijske materiale na kotlih, ceveh ali na hladilnih in klimatizacijskih napravah.Opis del in nalog:
- rezanje izolacijskih materialov po velikosti in obliki
- montiranje toplotnih in zvočnih izolacijskih plošč na stene, tla in strope zgradb
- montiranje izolacijskih materialov na izpostavljene površine naprav, na primer kotle, rezervoarje in cevi
- izoliranje hladilnih in klimatizacijskih naprav
- priprava alu oklepov v delavnici
