Our client is a reputable, high-end retail brand with over 200 stores worldwide selling computer and electrical equipment, furniture and bedding. The company already operates in three CEE countries and plans to expand. To strengthen their team we are looking for a person with entrepreneurial spirit and visionary ideas to join as “General Manager Computers CEE”.

Do these tasks excite you?

In this role, you will lead the Computers division by using best practices to achieve business results. You will work closely with Product Managers to develop strategies and offers in existing markets, as well as expand the business in the planned new countries.

Above all, you will:
- organize and manage sales and marketing of the Computer division in the CEE region
- contribute to strategic planning and development of the business
- determine the selection of products
- lead negotiations with suppliers, agree on purchasing conditions
- cooperate with product managers regarding procurement, sales, marketing, advertising and inventory status
- cooperate with the investment department for expanding the business in the region
- lead, organize, train and support subordinates
- remain current of all trends and opportunities for business improvement & development
- prepare reports to top management
- identify and actively communicate any risks and competitor analytics that may affect the business
- be available for frequent travel within the region

Work location: Ljubljana - Slovenia or Zagreb - Croatia.

Requirements

Do you bring the following with you?
- tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing or equivalent (university, trade school or college)
- excellent industry knowledge and experience in retail
- strong entrepreneurial spirit and execution skills
- strong communication skills to liaise with the internal & external stakeholders, partners, and suppliers
- results-driven mindset
- passion for technology and following trends
- hands-on approach
- attention to detail
- ability to handle pressure
- Slovenian/Croatian and English language skills

Languages:

Slovenian (advanced), English (advanced), Croatian (advanced)
