Senior Accountant (m/f)
Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Slovenia. The successful candidate will be responsible for IFRS-based accounting and will report to the regional CFO CEE. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with IFRS standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and experience working with IFRS.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare financial statements for group purposes
- Ensure compliance with IFRS standards
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Assist with the annual audit process
- Provide support to CFO and other members of local and regional management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of experience in accounting
- Very good command of English and Slovenian
- Strong knowledge of IFRS standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with accounting software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team”
