Director of sales (m/f)

Job Description:

The position of Director of Sales in our company offers the opportunity to lead and manage a sales team with the aim of achieving sales results. The Director of Sales is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, and monitoring market trends. This dynamic role requires strategic thinking, people management skills, and the ability to achieve goals in a competitive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize the Sales department and continuously improve it
  • Set sales goals and develop strategies to achieve those goals
  • Prepare sales plans, present them, and participate in the overall sales channel strategy
  • Analyze sales and engage in strategic sales planning for improvement
  • Monitor the performance of the sales department and adjust strategies according to market needs
  • Manage, motivate, guide, and develop sales team members
  • Lead negotiations, prepare and present proposals
  • Analyze competition
  • Identify potential customers, partners, and other relevant market players, and manage relationships with existing strategic customers
  • Identify market trends and opportunities to improve the department's current operations
  • Achieve growth and sales goals through successful sales team management
  • Monitor trends within the company's industry
  • Track and analyze sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics
  • Collaborate with other departments within the company

Requirements:

  • Higher education (college or university degree) in economics, mechanical engineering, construction, or related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a managerial position
  • Willingness to undergo education in the field of aluminum extrusion
  • Preferably, knowledge of aluminum production
  • Excellent leadership skills, including motivation, guidance, and team management
  • Expertise in analytics and data interpretation
  • Preferably, experience with CRM systems
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and proactivity
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office package
  • English language proficiency - minimum level B1
  • Driver's license (Category B)
